The design concept for the common areas of a residential complex in Perm is built around the idea of a space that is both human-centric and intuitive. The project is driven by a desire to create an environment that — through its architecture and interiors — fosters a sense of comfort, safety, and tranquility, while also encouraging interaction and a sense of community among residents. A key principle of the project is a focus on universal human values, which the space itself conveys on a non-verbal level.
The interior uses natural materials, warm wood texture, light porcelain stoneware and soft natural shades. Laconic forms, delicate accents and thoughtful lighting create a seamless atmosphere in which public spaces are perceived as an extension of the living environment, rather than transit areas.
The concept integrates a variety of uses: a welcome area with a reception desk and café, a coworking space, a lecture hall, a library, areas for workshops, a children's playroom, and a gym. Each zone is designed as a functional, flexible space where residents can relax, socialize, work, and enjoy leisure activities together.
The project places special emphasis on spatial versatility. Common areas easily adapt to various uses — ranging from intimate relaxation and individual work to meetings, lectures, and community events. Through modular solutions, open-plan layouts, and visual cohesion, the interior fosters a vibrant everyday environment centered on comfort and human interaction.
